Our Story

The company was founded by Mr Praavin Mittaal in 1999 in the city of Joy, Kolkata. The move from a small city in Patna was challenging but Praavin didn’t let his creative inclinations die. His keen eyes quickly grew fond of the rich tapestry of premium fabrics, colors, textures, and weave that the city offered. This gave birth to the idea of starting a textile company with innovation & sustainability at its heart.

The idea soon outgrew the small shop at Kolkata and found itself an office at Mumbai in 2003. Praavin was joined by his brother- Mr. Sandeep Mittal in 2004, and they set out on a journey to conquer the fashion capital of India- Delhi.

Global Footprint

The seed planted back in 2003 in the form of an idea of creating a textile company that caters to a global market with an extensive range of natural Indian textiles has now grown into a fruitful tree of 100+ employees, doing everything the founders dreamt of. FFAB sells across India, covering 47+ cities, 17+ countries across 3 continents, and has over 10000+ happy clients. The clientele extends to Medium-sized fashion Brands, Garment Manufacturers & Exporters, Premium fabric stores, fashion designers, private labels, fashion start-ups in India and abroad. The company has its corporate office & central warehouse in Noida (NCR), sales office in Bengaluru, and flagship stores in New Delhi, Ahmedabad & Kolkata (sister concern). FFAB also has a representative office in London for buyers’ appointments & sample selection.

The founders have been active supporters of the rich textile industry of our country, and have curated a versatile community of 1375+ artisans and weavers from all over the nation to bring the very best to the shelves of FFAB. Driven by the culture woven into each and every yarn of the fabric, the quality and correctness of the art form has always taken precedence over quantity.

FFAB houses a hefty range of natural fabrics like- silks, cotton, wool, flax, bamboo, viscose, cupro, modal, lyocell, and more. As the years passed we have expanded our range from fabrics to products like- Stoles/Scarves, Sarees, and unstitched lengths to name a few. Our association with hundreds of artisans and weavers across the country helps us in bringing together an exclusive range of fabrics featuring - natural dyes, hand block prints, hand embroideries, and many more. We also offer an extensive range of value-added fabrics in digital printing and embroidery.
