General Terms & Conditions
- All Silk or blended silk base fabric or textile products are recommended for Drycleaning only
- All embroidered fabrics or textile products are recommended for Drycleaning only
- We are not responsible for wash care if the bought fabrics or textile products are further modified into garment, accessorization or ornamentation in terms of any further value addition like stitching, embroidery, dyeing, printing etc
- All Sarees, Unstitched sets, dupatta/stoles are to be handled with care and recommended for dry clean only
- Many of the fabrics and products displayed on the website are products of cottage & handloom industry in India where no standard norms and parameters are followed during its production and such products must be handled by clients accordingly as no claims will be entertained
- All fabrics and textile products from artisan sector like block printing, azrakh, bandhni, shiborietccategorised under artisan fabric category also must be handled with care and recommended for dry clean only as no standard norms are in place for such items and we do not have any control on the manufacturing process of the same
- Generally, all non silk fabrics which are mill dyed can be machine/home washed in soft detergents
- All piece dyed fabrics which are not not mill dyed but bucket dyed may have color fastness issues and hence must be handled with care and recommended for dry clean only.
- We try to be as specific as possible for wash care of each fabric but looking at the produce from where it originates and the large collection of fabrics and textile products that we carry, it may not be possible for being specific to each fabric or textile products
- Wash care instructions given on our website against each product and fabric is a general instruction. Claims can not be entertained if such instructions are found not be followed. At times, it is difficult to establish the fact whether such wash care instructions have been followed by the client or not. We generally do not entertain any claims on color bleeding and other things unless it is proven that proper wash care instructions have been followed. Hence, such claims may take its own time to process anywhere between 15-30 days
